Who We Are
Zubri operates the Zubri app and is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Contact us at Zubri@gmail.com. Our Terms of Service describe the rules for using the app.
Scope
This policy applies to the Zubri iOS app and related support communications. It covers the records you keep about ice sphere molds, freezing batches, and cocktail or mocktail pours. The standalone webpage displaying this policy does not use cookies, analytics, tracking scripts, or external resources.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed for the features you use. You choose when to capture a photo, import an image, or record a voice note.

We do not request your contacts, precise location, entire photo library, payment card number, or Apple ID password. Camera, Photo Library, and Microphone permissions are used for the purposes shown above; declining any of them limits only the related capture or import feature.
How We Use Information and Legal Bases
- Perform our contract: store, display, and compare mold and batch records locally; deliver purchased Coins and requested app features.
- Your consent: access the camera, selected photos, or microphone and, if you allow it, measure Zubri advertising across apps and websites. You can withdraw consent as described below.
- Our legitimate interests: maintain app reliability, investigate errors or abuse, and answer support requests, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligations: retain transaction information when required, respond to valid legal requests, and meet applicable consumer and tax obligations.
Where consent is required by the law that applies to you, we rely on consent for that processing. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
How We Share Information
Your experiment archive is stored locally on your device. The identified outside service used for the functions in this policy is:
- Apple: distributes the app, processes one-time in-app purchases and refunds, provides purchase confirmations, and manages iOS permission and advertising attribution controls. Apple receives information necessary for those roles under its own privacy practices.
We may also disclose information when you direct or consent to it, when required by law, when reasonably necessary to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service with appropriate notice and safeguards. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with other businesses for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Tracking and Advertising
Zubri may ask for App Tracking Transparency permission using this explanation: “Get more relevant ads — Tracking enables Zubri to measure ad performance across apps and websites.” If you allow it, Zubri may use Apple's advertising identifier and Zubri ad interaction or attribution data from other companies' apps and websites to measure campaign performance and improve the relevance of Zubri ads. The permission is for Zubri's advertising measurement; we do not give your mold records, photos, tasting notes, or profile details to advertisers. We do not sell your data or share it with other businesses for their cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you decline, Zubri does not access your advertising identifier or track you across other companies' apps and websites. You may change the choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > Zubri. You can also email us to object to or opt out of targeted advertising processing where applicable law grants that right. Changing the iOS setting stops future tracking but does not undo lawful processing already completed.
Payments
Coins are available only through one-time consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple. Zubri receives purchase success information, a transaction identifier, and the Coin amount needed to update your local balance; it does not receive your card number or Apple ID password. Coins may be used to unlock advanced experiment reports within the app. Apple handles payment credentials and refunds under App Store policies. Contact Apple about charges or refunds and Zubri about your Coin balance.
Data Retention
The table above gives the retention period for each category. In summary, saved app content remains locally on your device until you delete individual records, use the app's data-clearing controls, or uninstall the app. Unsaved recordings are discarded when canceled. Advertising measurement events and support communications are retained only for the periods described above. Apple retains purchase transaction records under its own policies and applicable law.
Zubri does not maintain a remote copy or backup of your experiment archive. Deleting local data may be irreversible, so export or preserve any records you wish to keep before clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
International Transfers
Your locally stored experiment archive is not transferred by Zubri. Apple and any advertising measurement provider used with your permission may process purchase, permission, or attribution information in countries outside your own under their respective privacy practices and legally required safeguards.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or export personal information handled by Zubri and withdraw consent you previously gave. You can edit or delete local records using in-app controls, and device permissions can be changed in iOS Settings. You may also email Zubri@gmail.com.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom
You may also request restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and complain to your local data protection authority. You may withdraw consent at any time. We respond to verified requests within 30 days, subject to a lawful extension where necessary.
California and other United States states
Where state law applies, you may request to know, access, delete, or correct personal information; opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; and appeal a denied request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. You may use an authorized agent where allowed by law. Zubri does not sell personal information or share it with other businesses for cross-context behavioral advertising, but we will honor an applicable opt-out request if our practices change. California requests receive a substantive response within 45 days, subject to any extension allowed by law.
To exercise a right, use the relevant in-app control or email Zubri@gmail.com with the subject “[Zubri] - Privacy Inquiry.” We may verify your identity or an agent's authority before acting. For requests outside California, we aim to reply within 30 days unless applicable law allows or requires another period. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject; we will explain the result and any further complaint option available under your local law.
Security
Zubri uses iOS storage and permission controls and minimizes the information used for each feature. Purchase information is transmitted through Apple's systems. No device or transmission method can guarantee absolute security, so protect your device with an appropriate passcode and keep iOS up to date.
Children's Privacy
Zubri is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided information to us, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians can contact Zubri@gmail.com to report a concern.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. We will revise the Last updated date above. For material changes, we will notify you in the app before the changes take effect and request new consent where required. The updated policy applies from its stated effective date.
